Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath Hot Tubs used a patented designed "cone" pump union and wetend. Although the mtors are a standard 48frame motor, the wetend is patented.
If a tech sees any rust/corrotion on the pump motor, they will recommend replacing with the COMPLETE pump/motor as shown below. Reason is that it cost a lot in labor to save money on replacing one part and having the another part to fail soon afterwards. And the warranty gets a bit sticky with individual parts where the pump/motor complete shown on this page comes with a complete warranty for 180 days. Jacuzzi's standard warranty.
