Everything That A Jacuzzi Brand Spa Owner Needs to Fix Their Spa

Here's an actual retrofit that I performed. The customer had a massive electronics failure and a questionable heater. He opted for me to install a Balboa retrofit.

BEFORE:
This was the original equipment area. It's a Jacuzzi 110v system. The blue box on upper right was fried inside. The heater on the lower left side was questionable.
AFTER:
The blue box and heater and associated plumbing was removed and a simple plumbing results.

BEFORE:

This is the OEM topside control.
AFTER:
New Topside Control Pad with extended blank to cover extra holes left over from the OEM topside.

Because of lack of space by the pump, I moved the new Balboa electronic control box to the left side. This retrofit kit can be installed and operated on either the suction side or discharge side of the pump. Most systems require them to be installed only on the discharge side. This feature makes install easy.

This project was relatively simple. I encourage you to email me pictures of your existing system. I can walk you through the process. The end result will be a spa with a digital topside with temperature and a new heater. You will not longer need a flow switch or pressure switch or temperature sensor. The spa will operate automatically heating and filtering. On models without a mood light or ozonator, you can add the equipment because the control system comes designed to operate them.
